Council Meetings
We meet the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm at the Fire Station in Pewee Valley, KY. Located at 8607 Foley Avenue off Highway 146 (LaGrange Road) behind PNC Bank – just East of Jucy’s Bar-B-Que. The meetings are open to the public.
OGH City Council thanks Mayor E. Darlene Yarberry
The City of Orchard Grass Hills City Council thanks Mayor E. Darlene Yarberry for her great service to the city from 5/13/08 to 10/8/13. She has worked tirelessly to improve our city’s infrastructure and communications, and has served to preserve the safety and well-being of our citizens. The Mayor stepped down from her office at the City Council meeting on 10/8/13 as she will be moving out of state. The City Council voted City Council member Doug Lalli to serve as interim Mayor until the former Mayor’s term expires in November 2014. The City Attorney administered the oath of office to Doug Lalli at the City Council meeting. The Oldham County Environmental Authority Regional Wastewater Facilities Plan has been updated. A public hearing will be held on August 15, 2013 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the OCEA office for any comments, questions, or discussion on the plan. State regulations require all wastewater agencies to submit a Regional Facilities Plan every ten years; or when an agency is planning on expanding the existing wastewater treatment capacity by thirty percent or building a new facility/discharge. These requirements are contained in 401 KAR 5:006. This Facilities Plan will evaluate and establish a plan for wastewater service, comply with 401 KAR 5:006, and enable OCEA to meet DEP requirements. This notice provides the public the opportunity to review and comment on the plan for a period of thirty days ending August 15, 2013.
